S M Engineers, established in 1990, initially started with trading activity, dealing with Quality Control related instruments. Slowly the parent company's focus was on testing machines. While getting established in selling testing machines, S M Engineers realized that, servicing of these machines is very important and without providing after sales services, the firm will not be able to survive in the market. Also, calibration of testing machines had started getting importance as many companies started getting ISO certification. So S M Engineers ventured into servicing & calibration division in 1998, and then got accreditation from NABL (National Accreditation Board of
Testing and Calibration Laboratories) in 2004 to provide international trace ability globally. S M Calibration Centre is one of the oldest laboratories having NABL accreditation in calibration of testing machines field.
With an experienced & competent technical team, S M Calibration Centre provides reliable and quality services to reputed clients. In the calibration business only superficial calibration process or know how is not sufficient. Many times, these machines are not in good working condition or they are working but the calibration status is invalid. The customer base is manufacturing industries automobiles auto ancillaries machine tools and machinery manufacturers educational institutions and research laboratories etc. The Servicing & Calibration division looks after servicing, repairs maintenance & calibration of all testing equipments to required standards. The Spares division keeps all genuine necessary critical spares so in case of breakdown of machines they can be repaired with required spares & then calibrated.
The company is working on several upgradation projects where more sophisticated master instruments will be used for better accuracy and calibration practice. As the company is exhibiting steady growth in the respective calibration market, SM Engineers' aim is not only narrowed on the quantity of calibration but the quality of the calibration.
