Aditi Jhunjhunwala,FounderHaving spent a considerable time working as an art director in Singapore at the age of 24, Aditi Jhunjhunwala called it quits and returned to India. Little did she know, that she would become the woman behind training over a thousand students in the field of design. After graduating from Lasalle College of the Arts, Singapore, Aditi went to Central Saint Martins, London, where as a graduate she pursued Design Communication.

Today, she is an established Educationalist, a cross-disciplinary visualizer and thinker, and is the founder of Aditi Jhunjhunwala Consultancy, a renowned design education firm based in Kolkata. Being a multidisciplinary digitally creative genius, Aditi Jhunjhunwala places on the table, a versatile but focused set of skills with a balance between creative and analytical qualities and an emphasis on user-centric practices.

While education is continuing to evolve, Aditi Jhunjhunwala Consultancy works closely with students over time and meets the individual demands of their courses. Aditi's firm provides unlimited interdisciplinary collaborations like exhibitions, live projects and meeting people from the industry etc, to encourage their creative individuality. On the discussion of how you produce your work – whether to a small group of students or a wider audience, Aditi says, “It’s interesting because it gives me like a break from creating things – and I get the time to share my knowledge with the students”. This has helped Aditi to interact with big organizations and helped her with overall growth in terms of interaction with a large group of people.

While growing up Aditi never thought graphic design as a career option but more as, explaining that ideas spring from personal experiences. Being more passionate about the education sector in 2014, Aditi followed her dream and came up with the idea to build Aditi Jhunjhunwala Consultancy from scratch. This firm might have originated from her personal experiences, but it’s fair to say that the entrepreneurial dream was part of her DNA.



Aditi turned to her one true passion for learning and traveling after several years of experience, parting away with her corporate life when she worked with WPP across the two continents. She developed her own studio space and has continued her artistic practice for the last 6 years where she has been working with incredibly talented students. As a practitioner and educator, Aditi strives to shape and install exceptional design fundamentals in her teaching delivery and has mentored many students into successful designers.

Aditi has demonstrated leadership in her teaching career and she has led several programs. She was appointed as the Judge at St. Xavier’s College for the Department of Business (Vendition Event) in 2019 and as a Guest Lecturer to conduct the Fine Art Society Fest in 2020. Also, her company has achieved many milestones in these last 5 years which are Featured in The Telegraph (March 2020) under the Education Section amongst many more.

Six years ago, Aditi questioned the direction she was heading in and decided to follow a more sustainable route: education


Aditi’s teaching experience comes from her involvement as a social server at an NGO called Disha Foundation in her hometown which she has been serving for the last 11 years. Her passion for teaching merged with her love for design and her focus on influencing the young generation hone their digital skills.

“Each student is a challenge because they are an endless source of creativity itself, their ideas and the creative challenges they present have to lead to a huge boost as a mentor”, added Aditi. She achieved success by being extremely experimental and having an open - minded approach with her teaching.

At Aditi Jhunjhunwala Consultancy, the aim is to cultivate a classroom community where students feel comfortable taking risks, are curious about each other’s interests, and are open to feedback. “Our Mission at AJ Consultancy is to prove that design education provides a pathway to successful, sustainable careers, where individuals are capable of earning a good living and can contribute to the industry in meaningful ways.
