To provide a larger and better facility, the Telangana government has decided to start the second phase of the T-hub. The Minister has posted the pictures of T Hub2 along with revealing the good news. The new facility is most probably to be inaugurated by the end of this year.

“The innovation spaceship is ready to take off! T Hub2 is almost ready. With 3.5 lakh SFT of built-up space, it will be home to more than 2000 startups. India’s largest tech incubator & the world’s second-largest. #Telangana continues to strengthen its innovation ecosystem,” he posted on his Twitter account.

The T-Hub was planned to be ready by the end of 2020 but the COVID-19 pandemic played the role of a spoiler. Built for ₹ 276 crores in Raidurgam, T-Hub covers more than 3.5 square meters and offers accommodation for 2,000 startups.
T Hub’s first phase was launched in November 2015 and is located at the International Institute for Information Technology (IIIT) at Gachibowli, Hyderabad. This business incubator is a partnership between the state government, the International Institute of Information Technology, the Indian School of Business and the National Academy of Legal Studies and research and the private sector.

A 70,000 square feet space called CatalysT houses T-Hub2 within the IIIT-H campus and is the largest and the best technology incubator in the country. It is a house for several entrepreneurs, mentors, venture capitalists, investors and advisers.

In the technology sector, it provides services like networking with investors and mentors for startups. The IT Minister has invited corporate leaders like Shantanu Narayan, CEO of adobe systems, Satya Nadella, CEO of Microsoft and Kiran Mazumdar Shaw, President of Biocon to volunteer as mentors and to address entrepreneurs.

Over the past six years, T-Hub has employed more than 2,500 people and helped more than 1,120 start-ups earn about 1,800 crore rupees.
Assam, Goa and Delhi have entered into agreements with the Telangana Government for advice on IT hubs. Eight state ministers and several Union ministers have appreciated the state’s efforts.
